At Hosting Reliance we are committed to providing a service of exceptional quality and reliability. In the event you are not satisfied with your order, this document explains our refund policy.
Prior to ordering, to help ensure that our hosting service meets your requirements, please refer to our hosting plan details for comprehensive information on all features offered under each hosting plan. To help you make the right decision, you can also contact a customer service representative to discuss your Web hosting needs.

30 day money back guarantee
If you completed your order within the last 30 days, our 30 day money back guarantee policy may apply to you. If so, please contact us to arrange prompt rectification of the issue or a refund if required.
Cancelling hosting plans
You can cancel your hosting plan at any time prior to the next billing period by contacting us. Please note that a billing period already paid for will not be partially refunded (the hosting account will remain active until the end of the current billing period after cancellation), subject to this refund policy and applicable laws. If you pre-paid for multiple billing periods in advance, the remaining portion for unused billing periods will be refunded upon cancellation.
Upon cancellation, we will send you a cancellation confirmation email. Please do not consider your hosting account cancelled until you receive this email.
The standard Hosting Reliance billing period is monthly - commencing from the day you first ordered the hosting plan and renewing every month thereafter until cancelled. For example, if you ordered a hosting account on the 16th, your billing period will be from the 16th to 15th of each month after that until cancelled. Other billing periods may apply to you, depending on what hosting plan you purchased and your hosting agreement with us - please contact us if you would like further information about the billing period that applies to you.
Hosting orders first made more than 30 days ago
At Hosting Reliance we want you to be completely satisfied with your hosting plan. If you are not, we encourage you to contact us and we will promptly try to rectify the issue to your complete satisfaction.
As with refunds in general, we ask that you please choose carefully before making your purchase, as we do not normally give refunds on hosting plans already payed for if you simply change your mind or make a wrong selection.
The two lists below have been supplied by the Queensland Government's Department of Tourism, Fair Trading and Wine Industry Development; they outline your rights to a refund:
You are entitled to return goods and ask for a refund, exchange or repair if the goods you purchased:
- Have a fault that you could not have known about at the time of purchase;
- Are not the same as the description provided by the salesperson or advertisement;
- Do not match the sample you were shown at the time of purchase; and/or
- Do not do the job as you were led to believe.
You are not entitled to a refund if you:
- Simply change your mind or no longer want the goods;
- Realise you can't afford the goods;
- Found the same item at a cheaper price elsewhere;
- Chose the wrong size or colour;
- Knew about the particular fault prior to purchase; and/or
- Were responsible for causing the fault.

Refund policy regarding domain names
Subject to this refund policy and applicable law, no refunds or changes will be given on domain name registrations/transfers/renewals. This is due to the non-refundable registry costs incurred by us at the time of processing your order. It is important that you check the spelling of the domain name you wish to register on the registration form as we are unable to give refunds even if you misspell the domain name you wish to register.
