Q: What nameserver settings should I use?
You must set your domain name's nameservers to point to the following locations before your Web hosting plan will work correctly:
Primary DNS: ns1.hostingreliance.com
Secondary DNS: ns2.hostingreliance.com
Please note: The DNS information above is the default setting for websites hosted with Hosting Reliance and should be used as a guide only. Your hosting account may have other numbers in place of ns1. and ns2. - please refer to the welcome email you were sent after ordering your hosting with us or contact us if you require assistance.
Q: How long does it take for nameserver information to resolve to my new site?
After you update your nameserver information to point to your new hosting account, it may take between 24 to 48 hours. Until the resolve completes, your website may appear available on minute and unavailable the next - this is a normal occurrence when changing nameservers.
