Q: How long does a domain registration last?
The registration period for .com, .net, .org, .info and .biz domain names is in one year increments. Most people register domain names for one year, then renew them. If you wish you can pay your domain name registration up to 10 years in advance.
Q: Does the domain name belong to me?
Yes. Domain names you register through the Hosting Reliance site belong to you. You are free to transfer them to any registrar if you wish to do so in the future.

Q: Can I host all domain names with Hosting Reliance?
Yes. You can host all domain name types with Hosting Reliance, even if they weren't registered through our site.
Q: How do I redelegate my domain name (change its nameservers)
Visit the Hosting Reliance domain name registration site at http://www.hostingreliance.com/domains/ then click the Manage my domain names link. After logging in to your domain name management area, click the Manage Name Servers link.
As with any domain name redelegation, it will take between 24 to 48 hours for changes to take effect for your domain name world-wide.
Q: How do I recover my lost domain name management password?
Contact Hosting Reliance customer service. Your password will be emailed to the address on your domain name record.
Q: Can I lock my domain name?
Yes - this is a free service we can offer to you if you registered/transferred your domain name through our site. Please contact Hosting Reliance customer service to arrange this. Domain locking can help prevent your domain name changing ownership, having name server information changed etc without first being unlocked.
